Overview

The Fresno Nightcrawler is a small white humanoid form first documented on home security camera footage in south Fresno, California in November 2007. The creatures appear to consist solely of two long thin legs, with no visible torso, head, or arms. The phenomenon has remained largely localized to California's Central Valley.

Identification

Approximately 2 to 4 feet tall, entirely white, and apparently composed only of two stilt-like legs joined at a small upper triangular form often described as resembling a pant leg or pair of pants. Movement is stiff-legged and deliberate. They are typically observed in pairs of varying heights, interpreted as adults with juveniles. No vocalizations have been recorded.

Lore & Origin

The original 2007 footage from a homeowner identified only as Jose was broadcast on Univision's "Los Desvelados" program hosted by Victor Camacho, becoming the founding case. A 2011 capture by park rangers at Yosemite Lakes Park near Coarsegold closely matched the original morphology and gait. The Yokuts people of the San Joaquin Valley reportedly described similar entities in their oral tradition long before the 2007 footage.
